A deceptive business practice is a deceptive business practice. So why is this legal? One reason is because of the gray areas in the law, but I bet if people wanted it bad enough this law could be changed. It's up to us to start pushing for the legislation.

I had not heard that story. If it's accurate, why would this kid be allowed back in school, let alone still play sports? It makes no sense and says terrible things about our society.

I hate how some schools try to use these cookie-cutter molds for dealing with students. It's just laziness. It's either they do nothing to protect a child being bullied or over the top harsh on something derived from a positive notion. Nothing in between.

Let's not get distracted from what's going on in the world by arguing about the Bible. You aren't going to make a point or win someone over with a posted religious comment. It just incites a lot of arguing and turns the discussion at hand into something else.

It's amazing this doesn't happen more often. I can't tell you the number of times I've seen and worried for the safety of children at sporting event venues like this. I see them playing around and I'm biting my nails hoping the parents pay attention and grab them up before they fall over.

I agree! Plus, kids get so involved in what they are doing, especially if it's a game. They don't want to stop and might not even notice if it gets a little warm.

Hurricane news is still the main story, so not sure why you are complaining. But, some people like to hear only doom and gloom. I like to be informed as much as the next person about major news, I'm happy to here something good for a change.
